Conversation that Shandy and I just had
- Me: I'm so bored I'm playing solitaire. With actual cards.
- Shandy: I'm so bored I just checked Facebook.
- Me: You win.
I think my boredom has reached critical mass.
Ugh, someone take my laptop away and push me out the door and make me go running. I’ve got about half of chapter 6 HIAH done, which is great, but it’s not helping me prep for the 10K I’m running next month.
I really need to pop in the Dirty Dancing DVD because I should refresh myself on how this scene actually goes and I didn’t take adequate notes on it, but I’m so comfortable. On the other hand, it might be a good idea to move, since I don’t think I’ve done so in about 3 hours.
Yeah, I’m going to need these foot cramps to stop. Or at least become less severe, because I just almost threw my laptop across the room as I seized with pain.
So, my sister did my hair over the weekend, and it looked awesome. I tried to recreate what she did this morning, and what I ended up with is a look I’m calling, “I haven’t washed or brushed my hair for three weeks.” Why am I so incapable of styling my own hair??
I was in a huge hurry this morning, and I’m pretty sure I forgot to put moisturizer on after I washed my face. (1) My skin has been so unhappy all day. (2) Kurt Hummel would be so disappointed in me.
Have you ever wondered to yourself, “gee, I wonder how many times luckie needs to go to the store before she remembers to buy kleenex?” The answer, apparently, is “more than three.” Ugh. It was even on the list this time. I forgot waffles too. How am I supposed to go on?
Legit whining under the cut. Feel free to skip.
Sigh. I love when my last training run before an event is really miserable and difficult. It gives me lots of really happy, positive feelings about the event itself. Fingers crossed for bad dress, good show.
